The Bluesound VAULT 2i is a hi-res music streamer, CD ripper, and 2TB music library server all in one compact unit. Slide a CD into the slot-loading drive and the VAULT 2i rips it automatically in your choice of lossless FLAC, WAV, or space-saving MP3 at up to 320kbps - no computer required.

Your entire ripped collection is then stored on the internal 2TB hard drive and instantly available to stream to any Bluesound player throughout the home via the BluOS app.

As well as serving your local library, the VAULT 2i functions as a full hi-res network streamer in its own right, connecting to TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, Qobuz, and Roon Ready via Gigabit Ethernet or two-way aptX HD Bluetooth.

Its analogue RCA, coaxial, and optical outputs connect directly to any amplifier or AV receiver, with a 3.5mm headphone output and 12V trigger also on board. A 32-bit/192kHz DAC handles playback of everything from streamed lossless audio to your ripped CD collection at full resolution.

CD Ripping Built In: A slot-loading CD mechanism rips standard audio CDs bit-perfectly to FLAC, WAV, or MP3, storing them on the internal 2TB hard drive and making them available for streaming to any room via BluOS — entirely without a computer.
2TB Internal Storage: The ultra-quiet, low-power 2TB hard drive stores thousands of albums in lossless quality, and can also be populated from an existing digital music library via USB, NAS drive, or network share.
32-Bit/192kHz DAC: The high-resolution internal DAC delivers a frequency response of 20 Hz - 20 kHz ±0.3 dB with THD+N of just 0.005%, handling lossless FLAC, MQA, WAV, AIFF, and more at up to 24-bit/192kHz.
