2. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website you are making an offer to purchase goods.

After placing an order you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order.

A contract between you and K&B Audio Ltd is formed only when we send you confirmation that your order has been accepted and dispatched.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders where:

  • goods are unavailable
  • a pricing, product description or technical error has occurred
  • we suspect fraudulent activity

If payment has already been taken for an order that is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.

3. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images and specifications are accurate.

However:

  • images are for illustration purposes only
  • colours may vary depending on your display
  • specifications, packaging and included accessories may change from time to time without notice

Any accessories shown in images are not included unless stated in the product description.

4. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of placing an order.

We accept payment via the methods displayed during checkout, including major credit and debit cards and approved online payment providers.

All payments are processed using secure payment systems.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders promptly. Estimated dispatch and delivery times are provided as guidance only.

Delivery times may vary due to factors outside our control including courier delays, weather conditions or supply chain issues.

Orders may be delivered in more than one shipment.

If you instruct the courier to leave goods in a safe place or unattended location, responsibility for the goods passes to you once delivery has been made in accordance with your instructions.

Deliveries are normally made to a ground floor entrance only where reasonable access is available.

If delivery fails due to incorrect information provided or repeated failed delivery attempts, additional delivery charges may apply.

Please inspect goods on delivery where possible and notify us promptly if goods are missing, damaged or incorrect.

6. Risk and Ownership

Ownership of goods passes to you once full payment has been received and the goods have been delivered.

Risk in the goods passes to you once the goods are delivered to the delivery address provided when placing your order.

7. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Orders)

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To cancel your order please contact us by email at sales@kbaudio.co.uk.

You then have 14 days from cancellation to return the goods to us.

Returned goods must be:

  • complete
  • adequately packaged
  • returned in reasonable condition

You may inspect goods as you would in a retail shop. However, if goods are returned showing signs of handling or use beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop, we reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods.

Products that have been installed, mounted, wired, cut, painted, modified or otherwise altered beyond normal inspection may not be eligible for return unless they are faulty.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged on arrival or supplied incorrectly, the cost of returning goods is your responsibility.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or within 14 days of receiving evidence that they have been returned, whichever is earlier.

This cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If goods arrive faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where a fault or issue is confirmed, we will offer an appropriate remedy in line with your statutory rights. This may include repair, replacement or refund.

We may ask you to provide photographs, videos or other information to help us assess the issue, and we may request that the goods are returned for inspection.

Manufacturer warranties apply in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

9. Installation and Use of Products

Many products sold by K&B Audio Ltd are intended to be installed by a competent person such as a qualified electrician or professional installer.

K&B Audio Ltd does not provide installation services.

We cannot accept responsibility for:

  • incorrect installation
  • damage caused during installation
  • installation carried out by third parties
  • damage to property, décor, cabling or other equipment arising from installation work

Any advice or guidance provided by us is given in good faith to assist customers, but should not replace professional installation advice.

Where we recommend installers or contractors, they operate independently and we accept no responsibility for their work.

You should not arrange installation services until goods have been received, inspected and confirmed as suitable.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or excludes or limits liability where this would be unlawful.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of income, loss of profit, business interruption or installation costs arising from delayed delivery, product fault or product incompatibility, except where required by law.

Our products are intended for use within the United Kingdom unless stated otherwise. We do not guarantee compliance with requirements outside the UK.

11. Business Customers

Customers purchasing goods for business purposes may not have the same cancellation rights as consumers.

Any returns from business customers are subject to agreement.
