The Bluesound POWERNODE is a high-performance "just add speakers" streaming amplifier that combines 100W per channel DirectDigital amplification, the full BluOS multi-room platform, and a comprehensive connection set into one compact, living room-friendly unit.

Whether you're building a two-channel hi-fi system, integrating your TV into a stereo setup, or expanding to wireless surround sound, the POWERNODE handles it all from a single box.

A glass touch panel with proximity sensing and five programmable presets keeps everyday control simple, while the THX AAA headphone amplifier on the 6.3mm output gives you personal listening at the highest quality. USB-C, analogue RCA, optical, and the combo 3.5mm Mini-TOSLINK input cover every source type, HDMI eARC connects your TV cleanly in a single cable, and BluOS Bonded Speaker Link enables wireless Dolby Digital surround sound by pairing the POWERNODE with rear Bluesound speakers.

Dirac Live room correction is also on board, ready to unlock via a future software update.

The POWERNODE connects to any passive (unpowered) speakers via its 5-way binding post terminals.

It delivers 100W per channel into 8 ohm loads with IHF dynamic peaks of 265W into 4 ohm, giving it real headroom for demanding speakers across a wide range of impedances.

It can also be configured to output 80W x 3 as left, centre, and right channels for a home theatre LCR setup when paired with a compatible centre speaker.

Does the Bluesound POWERNODE have a headphone output?

What wired sources can I connect to the Bluesound POWERNODE?

The POWERNODE has a comprehensive set of inputs: HDMI eARC for TV, Toslink optical, analogue RCA, a combo 3.5mm optical/analogue input (adaptor included), and a USB-C PC input for computer audio. A USB Type-A port also allows playback from local storage.

This covers turntables with a preamp, CD players, TVs, computers, and virtually any other analogue or digital source.

Is Dirac Live room correction available on the Bluesound POWERNODE?

The POWERNODE is Dirac Live Ready - the hardware supports room correction and a Dirac Live info card is included in the box, but the feature is currently listed as available via a future software update rather than being active at the time of writing.

Once enabled, Dirac Live measures your listening room and corrects for standing waves and acoustic problems, producing cleaner, more balanced sound from your speakers. We recommend checking with us for the current firmware status before purchasing specifically for this feature.
