For home cinema, dedicated LCR in-wall speakers can be installed vertically as left and right channels or horizontally beneath a television as a centre channel, subject to the manufacturer’s recommended orientation. Before ordering, check the speaker’s cut-out dimensions and mounting depth against the available wall cavity. You should also consider driver size, power handling, impedance and whether the speaker is sold individually or as a pair.

Do In-Wall Speakers Need an Amplifier?

Yes. The models in this collection are passive speakers and must be connected by speaker cable to a compatible stereo amplifier or AV receiver. For home cinema, check that your AV receiver has enough channels for the planned speaker layout and that the speakers are compatible with its recommended impedance.

Many in-wall speakers include discreet, paintable grilles. An optional back box may improve acoustic consistency and help control sound travelling into adjoining spaces, but compatibility and installation requirements vary between models.
