Q. Are the grilles removable?

A. Yes, you can remove the grilles from the speakers if you prefer the look without them.

Q. What wiring is required to set these up?

A. The active speaker plugs into a socket outlet, the passive speaker wires into the active speaker with speaker cable and your audio source will plug into the active speaker. All link cables and interconnect cables are included with the speakers.

Q. Are these speakers Bluetooth?

A. No, these are the non-Bluetooth versions. The Edifier R1280DB is the Bluetooth version.

Q. Why can't I hear any sound from these speakers?

A. 1) Check they are turned on and the power indicator light on the side is on. 2) Make sure the volume is turned up using the volume knob or remote control. 3) Make sure your input cables are firmly connected. 4) If using a turntable, make sure the pre-amplifier is present and switched on.
