Each system combines a stereo amplifier with compatible passive in-wall speakers. The components are matched for impedance and power requirements, removing the uncertainty of choosing an amplifier and speakers separately.

Available features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi streaming, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, DAB or FM radio and television connections such as HDMI ARC or optical audio. Where Can In-Wall Speaker Systems Be Used?

In-wall systems are ideal for living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, media rooms and other spaces where you want room-filling sound with minimal visual impact. Once installed, only the low-profile speaker grilles remain visible, and many can be painted to complement the wall.

These packages are primarily designed for stereo music and improved TV sound. If you are planning a surround-sound home cinema, you will normally require an AV receiver and additional front, centre, surround and subwoofer channels.

What Should You Check Before Ordering?

• Wall cavity depth: Confirm there is enough space behind the plasterboard for the selected speakers.
• Cut-out dimensions: Check the required opening before cutting into the wall.
• Audio features: Choose Bluetooth for simple streaming or Wi-Fi for app control and supported streaming services.
• TV connection: Look for HDMI ARC or optical input if the system will also be used with a television.
• Cabling: Plan speaker-cable routes from the amplifier to each in-wall speaker before installation.
