Stands & Isolation Come First

This is the one accessory category where the effect is large, immediate and impossible to argue with.

A pair of speaker stands puts the tweeter at ear level and decouples the cabinet from the furniture it would otherwise be shaking. Fill them and the bass tightens further.

The same logic applies to your electronics. Our hi-fi stands keep components off resonant surfaces and stop the cabling disappearing into chaos behind the sofa.

Isolation feet and pads do related work under turntables in particular, where vibration reaching the deck goes straight back into the groove.

Cables: What Actually Matters

Two things, and both are measurable: gauge and length.

The principle the industry has used for decades is to keep total cable resistance below roughly 5% of your speaker impedance. For typical domestic runs, decent 16 gauge cable clears that comfortably.

Past that point, the differences worth paying for are in build quality, insulation and connectors rather than exotic conductor materials.
