Tangent CD III CD Player

The Tangent CD III is a compact CD player designed for music lovers who want high-quality sound in a sleek, space-saving form factor.

As the third generation of Tangent's CD player range, the CD III is the natural successor to the popular CD II and pairs perfectly with the Tangent Ampster III series, though it works equally well as part of any modern hi-fi setup.

It can be used as a standalone CD player via its analogue RCA output, or as a digital transport connected to an external DAC or preamplifier such as the Tangent PreAmp III, via the optical Toslink output.

• Gapless Playback: Seamless transitions between tracks make it ideal for live recordings, concept albums, and anything where interruptions would break the music.
• Dual Output Options: Choose between the analogue RCA stereo output for direct connection to an amplifier, or the optical Toslink digital output for use with an external DAC or preamp.
• Built-In Display: A clear, intuitive display makes navigation simple and straightforward, keeping the listening experience fuss-free.
• System Remote Included: The supplied system remote integrates neatly into a full Tangent setup, giving you effortless control across your system.
• Eco-Friendly Packaging: The CD III ships in new packaging where almost all plastic has been replaced with cardboard — sturdier, cleaner, and better for the planet.
