Onkyo Muse Y-50 250W Network Streamer & Integrated High-Power Amplifier

Onkyo Muse Y-50 250W Network Streamer & Integrated High-Power Amplifier pairs serious amplification with modern streaming in a single chassis.

The unit is marketed with a 250W high-power amplifier and is aimed at listeners who want powerful two-channel sound without a stack of separate components.

It suits medium to large rooms and can drive lower-sensitivity speakers with more headroom.

The Y-50 also serves as a modern source hub.

It offers network streaming over Ethernet and Wi‑Fi, support for common hi‑res file formats, digital and analogue inputs including a phono MM stage for vinyl, and outputs for a subwoofer or preamp.

Controls include a front display, remote and smartphone app support for easy operation.

• Integrated High-Power Amplifier: Features a 250W high-power design to give stronger drive and dynamic headroom for demanding speakers.
• Network Streaming & Multiroom: Built-in Ethernet and Wi‑Fi with Chromecast built-in and AirPlay support for easy streaming from phones and multiroom setups.
• Hi-Res Audio Playback: Native support for FLAC, WAV and ALAC plus DSD playback for higher-resolution files and lossless music.
• Flexible Digital and Analogue Inputs: USB-B for PC audio, optical and coaxial S/PDIF, and multiple RCA line inputs so you can connect TV, CD player and other sources.
• Phono MM Input: Integrated phono stage for turntables lets you play vinyl without a separate phono preamp.
• Built-In DAC and Clean Analogue Path: Internal DAC and an analogue stage with Pure Direct style operation to reduce processing and improve clarity.
• Speaker Outputs and Subwoofer Pre-Out: Robust binding posts for a two-channel speaker setup plus pre-out/subwoofer out to add bass management or a powered sub.
• Control and Convenience: Front-panel display, bundled remote and smartphone app control make setup and daily use straightforward.

The Onkyo Muse Y-50 is a practical choice when you want a single box that handles modern streaming, vinyl and high-power stereo amplification with flexible connectivity.
