Description
Description
The Monitor Audio CS-FH is a purpose-made fire hood for small Creator Series in-ceiling speakers, restoring the fire protection your ceiling loses when a speaker aperture is cut.
It fits around the back of the speaker before it goes into the ceiling, so it stays completely hidden once the installation is finished.
Because it comes from the same manufacturer as the speaker, you can specify your Creator Series ceiling speakers and their fire protection together as one complete system.
- Restores Fire Integrity: Reinstates protection around the speaker opening, helping to stop it becoming a route for fire and smoke to spread.
- Built for Compliance: Designed to meet the relevant UK and EU building regulation requirements for speakers installed in fire-rated ceilings.
- Less Noise Upstairs: Its construction helps reduce sound travelling into the space above the speaker.
- Fuller Bass: Creates a semi-sealed air volume behind the speaker, which can help improve bass performance and dynamics.
- Straightforward Fitting: Expand the hood, feed the speaker cable through the cable entry point, push it through the aperture and secure it with the supplied fixing pins.

Our Thoughts On The Monitor Audio CS-FH Creator Series Small Ceiling Speaker Fire Hood (Each)
We would fit a fire hood behind any ceiling speaker that sits under another room, and it is far simpler when the speaker brand makes its own.
The CS-FH is Monitor Audio's hood for its small Creator Series ceiling speakers, so you are not guessing at sizes or hoping a universal hood will fit.
It restores the ceiling's fire protection, cuts down on sound drifting upstairs and gives the speaker a semi-sealed space behind it that can help the bass.
If you are fitting small Creator Series speakers, add one per speaker and you are covered.
