The 778X integrated amplifier handles every source you're likely to own, the 700 standmount speakers bring back one of the most celebrated loudspeakers Britain has produced, and the matched stands put them exactly where Mission voiced them to be.
It suits anyone who wants a proper separates system without spending months auditioning components against each other.
Nothing needs adding to make it work. Connect a turntable straight into the 778X's phono stage, stream from your phone over Bluetooth, plug in a CD player or TV, and you have a system that covers vinyl and digital equally well.
- One Brand, Voiced Together: Mission developed the 700 and the 778X to the same standards, so you skip the guesswork of matching an amplifier to speakers and the stands are built to the speaker's exact footprint.
- Phono Ready Out of the Box: A JFET-based MM phono stage with precise RIAA equalisation means a turntable connects directly to the 778X with no separate pre-amp needed.
- Reference-Grade Digital: An ESS Sabre32 ES9018K2M chip with 32-bit HyperStream architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator handles files up to 384kHz PCM and DSD256, alongside aptX and AAC Bluetooth for CD-level streaming.
- Inverted Driver Geometry: The 700's tweeter sits below the bass/midrange driver so path lengths equalise and the sound waves coincide at head height, and the 485mm stands are what deliver that alignment in your room.
- Serious Bass From a Small Cabinet: A newly developed 165mm polypropylene bass driver and carefully profiled reflex port take the 700 down below 38Hz in-room from a 24.8 litre enclosure.
- Vibration Handled Properly: High carbon steel columns with internal damping and hardened stainless steel spikes isolate the speakers from the floor, so what you hear is the speaker rather than the room.
