The Edifier S880DB MKII is a fully upgraded 2.0 active Hi-Fi bookshelf speaker system delivering 88W RMS of total output power, designed for listeners who demand genuine high-resolution audio performance from a compact stereo setup.

At the heart of the S880DB MKII is a thoroughly redesigned acoustic architecture.

The upgraded 1.25" titanium dome tweeter, enlarged from the original 1" driver, now features a 25mm voice coil and neodymium magnets for crystal-clear, transparent highs. The 3.75" long-throw aluminium mid-bass driver extends down to 50Hz, ensuring a full, balanced sound across the frequency range.

Powered by a Texas Instruments analogue front-end and an XMOS XU216 chipset with 2,000 MIPS of computational power, the S880DB MKII supports digital audio processing up to 24bit/192kHz - comfortably meeting both Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification standards. Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC codec support enables wireless streaming at up to 24bit/96kHz from compatible Android devices.
