No - the R1280T are powered (active) bookshelf speakers with a built-in amplifier delivering 42W RMS. Simply connect your audio source via RCA and they are ready to use, with no additional amplifier needed.

What can I connect to the Edifier R1280T?

The R1280T feature dual RCA inputs, so you can connect two audio sources simultaneously - such as a turntable or CD player - without needing to swap cables.

Note that a phono pre-amp will be required if connecting a turntable with a moving magnet cartridge directly.

Do the Edifier R1280T have Bluetooth?

No, the R1280T do not include Bluetooth. They connect via wired RCA inputs only.
