Audioflow 2 Way Smart Speaker Selector Switch with App Control

The Audioflow 2 Way Smart Speaker Switch lets you connect and control two pairs of passive speakers from a single stereo amplifier.

It is ideal for creating two listening zones, such as a kitchen and dining room, bedroom and en-suite, or living room and garden, without requiring a separate amplifier for each area.

Either speaker zone can be used independently, or both zones can play together.

Control is available from the touch-sensitive buttons on the front, through the Audioflow app over Wi-Fi, using compatible Amazon Alexa voice commands or through contact closure connections.

One Amplifier, Two Speaker Zones

Connect the speaker output from your amplifier to the Audioflow, then connect one pair of passive speakers to each zone.

Both zones receive the same audio source and share the amplifier’s volume level, while the Audioflow allows you to choose which areas are playing.

This makes it a practical solution for ceiling speakers, wall-mounted speakers, bookshelf speakers and passive outdoor speakers installed across two adjoining rooms or areas.

Important Compatibility Information

The Audioflow is a speaker selector, not an amplifier. It must be connected to the speaker output of a suitable stereo amplifier and can only be used with passive speakers. It does not power speakers by itself and is not intended for active or powered speakers.

Both zones play the same audio and use the same amplifier volume setting. The Audioflow switches each zone on or off but does not provide separate sources or independent volume control for each area.

When both zones are active, the connected speakers are wired in series. For example, a pair of 6Ω speakers on Zone A and a pair of 8Ω speakers on Zone B will present a 14Ω load to the amplifier. This protects the amplifier from an excessively low impedance, although the available output may be shared between the two zones.
