The Andover Audio SpinBase MAX 2 is an all-in-one powered turntable speaker designed to sit directly beneath your record deck, with six drivers, 100W of bi-amplified power and a built-in phono stage in a single compact base.
Its patented IsoGroove® technology isolates the turntable from speaker vibration, so your deck can sit straight on top without skipping or feedback, even at higher volumes.
Because the phono preamp is built in, it works with turntables that have their own preamp and those that don't, using the Line input for the former and the Phono input for the latter.
Beyond vinyl, Bluetooth, optical, USB and line inputs mean it doubles as a tidy system for a TV, games console or CD player on a media unit.
- Six-Driver Array: Four 88.9 mm woofers and two 20 mm soft dome tweeters work together across a 270° sound field, giving a wide, room-filling stereo image without fussy speaker placement.
- IsoGroove® Anti-Feedback Technology: Place your turntable directly on top and play at volume without the usual rumble, resonance or skipping associated with stacking a deck on a speaker.
- Built-In Phono Stage: Connect any turntable straight out of the box, whether or not it has its own preamp, with no extra boxes or cables to buy.
- Two-Way Bluetooth: Stream from a phone, tablet or laptop, and transmit out to Bluetooth speakers or headphones when you want to listen privately or extend the sound elsewhere.
- Subwoofer Output with High-Pass Filter: Add a subwoofer and the selectable 100 Hz high-pass filter reroutes deep bass away from the main drivers, letting the SpinBase MAX 2 play louder and cleaner.
- IR Remote and EQ Controls: Adjust volume, switch inputs and fine-tune bass and treble from your seat, with a four-character LCD display confirming what you're listening to.
