As an active/passive system, The Nines II need no separate amplifier. The master speaker handles all the power, while the built-in MM phono stage means a turntable connects directly without any additional hardware. For TV use, HDMI ARC with CEC provides a clean, single-cable connection with full remote control pass-through.

What sets The Nines II at the top of the range is the combination of both Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® decoding — the only model in the series to offer both formats - delivering a genuinely cinematic surround sound experience from just two speakers. Add Dirac Live® room correction, which automatically calibrates the sound to your specific listening environment, and the result is a speaker system that performs superbly regardless of room size or placement.
